How to lose money by accident

I just went through a bit of a head ache. For all of my land, I always set it to be group owned so that I can get the added bonus of more land ownership for my tier. The group is very small and made up of only people that I trust. I sold some of my land today without transferring it back to myself first. The result was that everyone in my group got a dividend of roughly 10,000 L$. My heart sank when I found out and I had spent a considerable amount of time getting the money back. When selling land, make sure that it is not group-owned. To buy it back, set the price to zero and pick yourself as the only person who can purchase the land. You'll be kicking yourself if you don't.
